Stories that echo. Impact that lasts.

At Koyoka Uganda, we believe that listening is the first step to meaningful change. Our name, Koyoka, a Lingala word meaning “to listen”, captures the heart of our work. We listen deeply to the lived experiences of communities and transform those stories into powerful visual narratives. From compelling images and thought-provoking animations to moving documentaries, we use storytelling as a tool for empathy, advocacy, and impact.

Our vision

A world where visual storytelling empowers individuals, communities, and societies to confront challenges, celebrate diversity, and build a more compassionate and just future.

Our mission

To harness the transformative power of visual storytelling to inspire empathy, ignite critical thinking, and catalyze social change.
